Bagaimana Skor IELTS Dihitung?
Setelah menguasai semua
materi dan mencoba berbagai latihan IELTS, tentu anda ingin mengetahui skor
akhir anda dan mengukur kesiapan anda menghadapi tes yang sesungguhnya. Berikut
adalah penjelasan mengenai sistem penilaian IELTS mulai dari band score bagi
sub-tes Listening, Reading, Writing dan Speaking, hingga overall band score
yang merupakan skor tes secara keseluruhan.
IELTS Listening Band
Score
Anda dapat mengetahui
skor anda untuk sub-tes Listening dengan menggunakan tabel berikut. Tabel
sebelah kiri adalah jumlah jawaban benar yang anda miliki, sedangkan tabel
sebelah kanan adalah skor yang anda dapatkan.
Misal anda memiliki 30
jawaban benar, maka skor anda untuk sub-tes Listening adalah 7.0.

Setelah anda mengetahui skor setiap sub-tes, anda dapat
menjumlahkannya, lalu hasil penjumlahan skor dibagi 4. Skor anda secara
keseluruhan dapat dijelaskan sebagai berikut:
Perlu diingat bahwa pada
skor IELTS, desimal yang kurang dari .25 dan .75 harus dibulatkan ke bawah,
sedangkan desimal yang lebih dari .25 dan .75 harus dibulatkan ke atas.
Misal skor anda adalah
6.25, maka akan dibulatkan menjadi 6.5
